Installation precautions for pressure reducing and desuperheating equipment

As the name suggests,Desuperheaterreduces high-temperature, high-pressure steam to low-pressure, low-temperature steam usable by the customer. Taking the boiler superheater outlet as an example, the steam generated by the boiler reaches the steam turbine for operation via the heater outlet. The steam turbine has range requirements for the input steam parameters. If the steam parameters at the superheater outlet exceed the upper limit of the steam turbine requirements, the steam turbine will be damaged. Therefore, a temperature and pressure reduction device must be used to reduce the parameters to the applicable range.

DesuperheaterIt is a desuperheating and pressure-reducing device widely used in power, petrochemical, light industry, textile printing and dyeing, medicine, and combined heat and power generation industries. During installation, please pay special attention to the following matters:
1. Please install according to the serial number order of the desuperheater main system general diagram.
  2. Gate valves should be installed at the inlet of the equipment for opening and closing.
  3.DesuperheaterThe lower part of the safety valve should be equipped with a fixed bracket, and a sliding bracket should be set at appropriate positions at both ends of the equipment. Thermal compensation measures or natural compensation should be considered at the connections at both ends of the equipment. The drain valve must be installed at the low point. The user should solve the problems of the above-mentioned gate valve, bracket, compensation measures, drain valve, etc., according to the above conditions.
  4. The signal lines connecting the on-site instruments to the temperature control cabinet use single-core shielded wires of 1 mm2 or larger: three-core shielded wires for thermal resistance, two-core shielded wires for pressure transmitters, and four-core shielded wires for actuators. The grounding resistance should be less than 4 ohms. The main input line of the power supply uses cables of 2.5 mm2 or more. All instruments with grounding requirements must be reliably grounded.
  5. Strictly install the inlet and outlet thermal resistors and pressure transmitters according to the installation drawings and technical data to avoid reverse installation. If the damage is caused by incorrect installation, it will cause subsequent usage errors.
  6. When installing each valve, please pay attention to the flow direction of steam and superheated water.
  7.DesuperheaterAfter installation, remove the valves of the pressure reduction system and water supply system, and blow dry the entire pipeline to remove welding slag, weld cores, and other impurities from the pipeline before reinstalling. Check for debris, install the removed valves, and then perform a hydraulic test. The test pressure is 1.5 times the workpiece pressure. The safety valve must be removed under test pressure and sealed with a blank plate, then pressurized for 5 minutes to check all connections for leaks.
