If you encounterControl Valvepoor stability during use, you can refer to the following solutions:

Method of changing the direction of unbalanced force: In stability analysis, it is known that the effect of unbalanced force is the same as the valve closing direction, that is,Control Valvewhen the valve is closed, the stability is poor. When the control valve operates under the above unbalanced force conditions, the method of changing its direction of action is usually selected to change the flow closing type to the flow opening type. Generally speaking, the stability problem of the control valve can be easily solved.
Method of avoiding the unstable area of the control valve itself: SomeControl ValveDue to its own structural limitations, the stability is poor when working at certain openings. The opening of the double-seated valve is less than 10%, because the upper ball is open and the lower ball is closed, which brings instability problems. Near the changing slope of the unbalanced force, its stability is very poor. For example, butterfly valves have an intersection point around 70 degrees; the opening of a double-seated valve is 80-90%. In this case, working in the unstable area will inevitably have poor stability, so just avoid working in the unstable area.
Replacing with a good stabilityControl Valve: Control valves with good stability have smaller changes in unbalanced force and good guidance. Among commonly used ball valves, sleeve valves have this main characteristic. When the stability of single-seated and double-seated valves is poor, replacing them with sleeve valves will definitely improve their stability.
Method of increasing spring stiffness: The ability of the actuator to resist the influence of load changes on the stroke depends on the spring stiffness. The greater the stiffness, the smaller the influence on the stroke, and the better the valve stability. Increasing the spring stiffness is a common and simple method to improveControl Valvestability. This method is mainly used for valves with positioning; otherwise, the valve should be equipped with positioning.
Method of reducing response speed: When the system requires that the response or adjustment speed of the control valve should not be too fast, the response and adjustment speed of the valve is relatively fast. For example, fine-tuning of the flow rate is required, but the flow rate adjustment of the control valve changes greatly, or the system itself is already a fast response system, andControl Valveit has positioning to speed up the valve action, which is unfavorable. This will lead to overshoot, vibration, etc. In this regard, the response speed should be reduced, the linear characteristic becomes logarithmic, and the one with positioning can be changed to a converter and relay.
