On December 30, 2020, the integrated low-temperature adjustable nozzle independently developed by Hangzhou Meiya Power Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hangzhou Meiya") was successfully delivered. The product design is mainly applied to the temperature reduction conditions of the ethylene and propylene gas industries. The 15 sets of low-temperature adjustable nozzle temperature reducers delivered were applied to the 600,000-ton/year ethylene plant in the Tarim Oilfield. After more than a year of operation, the equipment has been stable and reliable.
The 600,000-ton/year ethane-to-ethylene project of the Dusunzi Petrochemical Company's Tarim Oilfield was successfully put into operation on August 30, 2021. The ethylene plant uses pure ethane as a raw material and adopts the ethane steam cracking process technology independently developed by PetroChina. It has a dual demonstration effect of leading the high value-added comprehensive utilization of domestic natural gas resources and reducing dependence on foreign ethylene process technologies.
Previously, the temperature reduction nozzles used in the 600,000-ton/year ethylene plant project in the Tarim Oilfield were all imported from abroad. The integrated low-temperature adjustable nozzle from Hangzhou Meiya is the first application of this project for domestic substitution. Through the efforts and experiments of Meiya's technical department, aiming at the harsh working conditions of large flow rate, high pressure difference, easy vaporization, and low temperature in this project, a series of optimization designs have been carried out on the material selection and internal structure design of the temperature reduction nozzle. The successful operation of the integrated low-temperature adjustable nozzle has been affirmed by users and design units. As an excellent privately-owned enterprise that has experienced 25 years of ups and downs, Hangzhou Meiya is more confident in continuing to carry forward the spirit of struggle and exploration of Meiya people in the process of domestic substitution and writing a new milestone.
